Job Description

The University of Advancing Technology is currently recruiting for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is primarily responsible for appropriate staffing of University departments with employees who are passionate about education, technology and customer service. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will also help to codify and maintain University culture. To that end, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that University trainings occur in a timely and useful manor. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for finding qualified candidates for all open positions, hiring of candidates, and employee orientation. This position will assist managers with the job analysis process and assist human resources with job descriptions based on analysis of job duties. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will also collaborate with management to assist in establishing long range professional personnel needs in order to create Talent acquisition programs.

This position will fall under the Universities Organizational and Development Department and will also handle general Organizational Development and Human Resources duties.  This candidate will participate in the development and communication of identified talent acquisition and retention programs such as online sourcing and applicant tracking systems, talent assessment administration and tools, relocation programs, interviewing tools and training, advertising programs and other processes that enhance the organizational capability to attract, hire and retain top talent and advanced knowledge of full life cycle talent acquisition components, including effective sourcing, Internet/Social media recruitment, behavioral interviewing, employment laws, job analysis, salary trends, and relationship management.

The ideal candidate will be friendly, fun, approachable, organized, dependable, be able to multi task efficiently and be able to complete work quickly. This position will interact with a variety of candidates and employees. While this candidate should value getting the job done right and meeting their goals and expectations the majority of this positions time will be spent interviewing, interacting with employees face to face and via email and building relationships.

A Bachelor degree is required for any applicant applying for this position.

Skills / Requirements

Bachelor degree required

Experience in recruiting of employees or in educational hiring preferred

Customer service experience preferred

Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects and adhere to deadlines.

Excellent project management skills

Ability to interact positively and effectively with a diverse group of students, employees, faculty and candidates
